You guys I’m teaming up with Dorot today to share with you a great no-fail spring recipe! Spring time is such a bright and happy time in the world and cooking is no exception. I love all the spring time meals and the addition of citrus and fresh herbs to brighten up dishes. For those of us from the coast spring and summer usually bring on seafood dishes and this shrimp meal is such an easy go-to! Go ahead an watch me make this simple and quick dinner! With the help of Dorot, fresh prepared herbs my prep time was literally cut in half!
If you guys spend any time around me at all you will quickly learn that despite my love of herbs and plants I kill them almost instantly – which makes cooking with herbs highly inconvenient. I am so excited to share the Dorot fresh, prepared herbs – these are seriously a life savor when it comes to fresh and flavorful cooking. For this recipe I used garlic and basil but they have a whole line of great herbs available – check it out here! All of their herbs are prepared, which mean no slicing, dicing or washing. They even have caramelized onions! Y’all. That is seriously a game changer.
Dorot frozen herbs can be found conveniently in the frozen food section of your local Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Wegman’s, Harris Teeter and other stores (check out their website to find a store near you!). I especially love that the Dorot herbs are frozen in a small package that looks like a mini ice cube tray- you just pop out however many you need and put the rest back in the fridge for another meal and just like that you have fresh, already prepared herbs!
Right now I’m loving the Dorot frozen garlic and basil – these are such life savors for me to have stocked in my freezer for spur of the moment meals – I cannot tell you how many times we have made a last minute trip to the store for just herbs for a specific dish! Well no more, thanks to Dorot we will always have yummy, fresh, frozen herbs right on hand.
As always you guys, I only rep brands that I use and trust, Dorot is one of those brands for me! I think their products are just fantastic and totally worth your time. Go check them out!
Howdy friends, today I hopped on FB LIVE and shared my easter table scape ideas. I decided to go with a fresh southwest, desert inspired look with cacti, succulents and a few flowers. This is a fun and budget friendly table scape that would be great for easter, a dinner party or a summer/spring wedding. Take a look at my FB LIVE video above and all the pretty pictures below to see how it all came together 🙂
Grayson and I had a fun little adventure today exploring the creek near our new neighborhood. It was an easy little trek and a fun little nature experience without even leaving home and of course there were PLENTY of puddles to jump in….Grayson’s favorite! I’ve been struggling a little with the fact that we don’t have a park in or near our neighborhood and trying to find ways to get out into nature and I think our newly found creek has solved our problems!
I’ve heard it said that the definition of a little boy is “Noise with dirt on it.” If that is true, than is is 2x true for a Tompkins boy! Our little people always seemed to be covered in dirt……….. or paint, or glitter, or flour or sand etc, etc, but thanks to the Libman Company cleaning up after our most precious people is a whole lot easier!
The Libman Company offers inexpensive, quality cleaning supplies conveniently at every Walmart. Be sure to check them out HERE and get a $3 off coupon for a Libman product.
I personally love the Wonder Mop! It has a microfiber mop head that clings to dirt and grime. My favorite thing about the Wonder Mop is that the mop head can be removed and washed up to 50 times before you replace it! And the Wonder Mop has a power wringer that you pull down over the mop head to wring out excess water – which means saving your hands from drying out do to over exposure to water and cleaning solution!
Not only is The Libman Company offering a great coupon that can be used at Walmart stores, as of March 1, they are holding a Pintrest Sweeptakes ! Here is how to enter, Click HERE to follow The Libman Company on Pinterest and re-pin from their sweepstakes-specific board. Create a “Spring Cleaning Toolkit” using images of The Libman Company’s products and Spring cleaning tips from the pinboard, and then enter your information on The Libman Company’s Facebook page ( LINK HERE). Invite your friends to enter as well! 5 winners will receive a “Spring Cleaning Toolkit” comprised of Libman products, and one additional winner will receive a prize package plus a $1,000 cash prize.
You guys I’m totally entering the sweepstakes, we need all the cleaning help we can get around here!
I’ve been on the hunt for a cute tufted headboard for a while now. I was really looking for something in a neutral color (I have an obsession with neutrals in my room) with a little shape. Not too flat, not too curved.
I didn’t want something I would quickly tire of- I decided that nailhead trim (brass obviously) might not be the way to go incase I use the headboard in a space where gold/brass is not my metal of choice; FAT CHANCE I know! But, better safe than sorry.
Wayfair carries the Cleveland headboard and it was the perfect amount of everything for our room. Link Here! Our colorway is called “linen” and we have the headboard in Queen.
When I bought the headboard it was on a crazy good sale! Like, $80 crazy- but I didn’t want to endorse it not knowing if it was really worth the price. It totally is! I think Wayfair has it priced between $113-$170 depending on day and time.
This is totally not proven but……I think Wayfair’s items are sometimes priced lower in the morning. Worth it to keep an eye on things. Also remember that Wayfair has free sipping on the “big stuff”.
If you are looking for the perfect headboard, be sure to jump over to Wayfair and check out the Cleveland Headboard!

You guys know I am ALWAYS on the look out for a good deal! Well, today I’m showing you some of my favorite picks from a major kids clothing sale going on right now!
Gymboree (one of our favorite stores!) is hosting an ‘Up to 75% off” sale right now and it is off the hook! They have Tons and Tons of looks to choose from, some items as low as $3.99- These are amazing prices people! I’ve put together this little post to show off some of my favorite looks for boys and girls and it was beyond difficult to pick just five items for each, but I narrowed down my choices with links listed below!!
Hey y’all! I hope you joined me on Tuesday when I blogged Sloane’s neutral glam nursery reveal, if you didn’t catch that you can read all about it here. Today I am sharing the gender neutral shared toddler bedroom that Grayson occupies.
Hey you guys! As our time here in our rental is now wrapping up I want to share some photos of sweet baby Sloane’s neutral glam nursery as I had promised. This is one of my favorite rooms in our home. When we moved into our rental I could not get over how BLAH all of the rooms were. everything is beige and there really isn’t any contrast in the rooms. I decided that for Sloane’s nursery I was going to let the neutral color palette work for me.

It seems to me that this holiday season is going by so so fast and before you know it we will all be faced with the new year and all the new resolutions that we’ve made for ourselves. If you are like me you probably don’t voice your resolutions but you tell yourself every year that you will try to be a little healthier, eat a little less sugar and exercise a little more!
I’ve put together a great little list of products that I currently use to help me make my fitness goals a reality. These would be perfect as stocking stuffers for your favorite fit friend or a great after Christmas purchase for yourself!
