Hey y’all! I was on Instastories this morning talking about my goal to put our whole family on a capsule wardrobe rotation and how I’m starting with out kids closet since that tends to inherit the bulk of clothing in our house. I’ve been sorting a clearing out for a few weeks now and have been waiting for the seasons to change around here to make the switch to their Fall capsule wardrobe. I picked out a few pieces at Old Navy this week as they are having a great sale that you should totally go check out! I’ve put together a few mood boards for kid’s Fall capsule wardrobes. Check it out below!

You guys know I am ALWAYS on the look out for a good deal! Well, today I’m showing you some of my favorite picks from a major kids clothing sale going on right now!
Gymboree (one of our favorite stores!) is hosting an ‘Up to 75% off” sale right now and it is off the hook! They have Tons and Tons of looks to choose from, some items as low as $3.99- These are amazing prices people! I’ve put together this little post to show off some of my favorite looks for boys and girls and it was beyond difficult to pick just five items for each, but I narrowed down my choices with links listed below!!
Hey you guys! As our time here in our rental is now wrapping up I want to share some photos of sweet baby Sloane’s neutral glam nursery as I had promised. This is one of my favorite rooms in our home. When we moved into our rental I could not get over how BLAH all of the rooms were. everything is beige and there really isn’t any contrast in the rooms. I decided that for Sloane’s nursery I was going to let the neutral color palette work for me.
Lately thanks to my photo and blogging challenge I’ve been finding more ways to be creative everyday. As a creative person I refuel by being creative and making a little bit of time to make stuff everyday makes me feel really productive. Today I made a neat Anthropologie inspired painted globe for Sloane’s room.
I bought the globe back in the spring at Target. It was a chalkboard globe from the party section and only cost $14.99. I love the way it turned out- perfect way to repurpose it for our new house 🙂
Thanks for coming back on this Saturday evening to check out the progress on my photo challenge. Today we were just playing around the house and I decided that little miss Sloane would be the subject of my photography endeavor- however she had some other plans……
Poor sweet girl, she was totally not into it. I decided we’d shoot in her room so she could play and crawl and I could just take some nice little candid shots but she was not having it. She really is pretty easy going for the most part but she has her moments when she really just wants to be held by mommy and this was one of them. Although before playtime was over I was able to snap this little gem…
I’m so impressed and excited over this photo- I’m sure it’s a fluke, I’ll never be able to get another photo this good in my life but it’s so wonderfully pretty and it will probably end up in a frame somewhere.
Sweet girl was not feelin’ the photo sessh so we were done. I got one great photo of the day of our pretty baby and I’m stoked. Thanks for coming over to the blog and seeing all the photos I’ve been working to get everyday!
